Taste of Devon Butchers was established in 2020 by local butchers Matt Bowker and Terry Churchill, starting out in a small unit at Riverside Way in Seaton. Today, Matt and Terry are the proud owners of a busy, thriving butcher’s shop on Fore Street, right next to Windsor Gardens, in the heart of town.

Ashley joined the team in 2023, just before Matt and Terry wished a happy retirement to Richard, who had been a valued part of the business.

With a wide selection of locally sourced produce and a commitment to whole carcass butchery, Matt, Terry, and Ash consistently deliver mouth-watering cuts of meat. A recent highlight for the team was being named “Best Butchers in Devon” at the Business Awards in Summer 2024. They also proudly received Gold from the Taste of the West Awards for their sausages and dry-aged steaks.

To say the boys are passionate about meat would be an understatement! Alongside their delicious cuts and convenient ready meals made on-site, they also offer a tempting ready-to-eat range, including homemade scotch eggs, sausage rolls, cheeses, and cooked meats. Taste of Devon Butchers are proud to support local farmers and supply many local businesses.
