Do you remember last year’s stunning Poppy Tree? It stood proudly on our seafront roundabout as a powerful tribute to those who served, and a symbol of remembrance, community, and hope.This year, we’d love to make our 2026 Poppy Memorial even more special with expansion into Jubilee Gardens – and we need your help! Whether you knit, crochet, carve, twist wire, paint, or recycle bottles, we’d love you to create a weatherproof poppy to become part of this meaningful community display. Colours welcome: Red, Purple, White, and Black – each carrying its own special meaning.
